This is my first published book, so it’s fitting that it should be the first Gallowglas book of the month.

A Visit from the Goon Squad by Jennifer Egan is my favorite novel. It’s breathtaking and brilliant. A literary novel that achieves deep science fiction due to the complexity of the narrative and through no intention of the author. So good. I hope it brings you all the joy it brought me.
Missing You, Metropolis by Gary Jackson is a collection of poems about comic books and growing up as a multi-racial nerd in an era before nerdy interests had taken over pop culture.
