Shenanigan Report: Short and Sweet!

Greetings, story lovers!

As the title says... this one will be short and sweet. I wanted to let you know about a couple of cool things happening soon. Yes, one is happening in only a couple of hours, but better short notice than no notice.

Tonight at 7pm pacific, I'll be giving my talk about how I'd fix the final season of Game of Thrones. Few television series have left viewers with lingering disappointment like Game of Thrones. Join me live on YouTube, where I'll rework the ending of this show that captured the cultural zeitgeist for nearly a decade and failed to stick the landing. This won't be fanboy wish fulfillment. I'll build from narrative arcs left dangling throughout the series to forge new, satisfying resolutions for all the characters.

WHERE'S YOUR LANTERN?

Saturday, October 17th, in Sacramento, I'm doing my annual Trick and Treat performance. It'll have storytelling, spoken word, crowd work, and a costume contest. First prize is a complete set from the Gallowglas Library! That is, every book I've published. At least, those still in print. (Maybe one or two that are out of print.) That's over $600 worth of books for the winner.

NOTE: I'm the judge. The prize will go to the costume I like best... not necessarily the BEST costume.

THE EVENT IS FREE!!!

Why? Because we're filming it. I want to build a video library of promotional clips. So, please consider coming out and supporting my performance. It's going howling epic fun!
